Reserves Denied Promotion

Sturminster Marshall Reserves have been denied  promotion to Division One of the Dorset Football League despite winning the Division Two Championship. The disbandment of the ill fated Dorset Reserve League meant a reorganisation of the league structure and our second string have been denied their hard earned place in the First Division.

Poole Borough Reserves returned to Dorset Football after playing in the Bournemouth League last season and have inexplicably been placed straight into the Senior League - ahead of those sides who earned the right to play in that league.

A strange decision by the league administrators to say the least.
