Our first away game of the season saw us at Ferndown. From the kick off we put the home team under pressure, which was rewarded after just 2 mins a from a great cross by Mat Best was turned in by strike partner Jack Rice. Aaron having a great game in midfield was unlucky when he hit the post direct from a corner. With 20 mins gone Besty and Azza combined and Jack scored his second goal. Five mins into the second half Aaron was upended and Simon converted from the spot. From our very next break Dom Chandler put in another great cross for Jack Rice to complete his hat trick. With 10 mins left Besty ran on to a through ball from Simon and made the final score 5-0. This was a very impressive team performance, lets hope we can continue this throughout the season.
