The Club has defined a number of short and long term objectives

 

 SHORT TERM (within three years and where possible immediately actioned).

 

The appointment of a Club Welfare & Development Officer – already appointed

The appointment of a schools liaison officer


The appointment of a volunteer
coordinating officer


To ensure that volunteers, managers, coaches and club officials receive adequate training to undertake their roles.

To appoint a referees’ development officer - already appointed

To improve communication throughout the club.

To improve our standing in the community of Sturminster Marshall and surrounding areas.

To achieve Charter Standard Community status.

To encourage and support club members in their attempts to gain coaching, refereeing, first aid and other qualifications.

 

To improve playing and training facilities.

 

To provide Club House to hold meetings, function, etc.

 

Looking at other venues with view to provide full size soccer pitches such as those at the Admiralty Corfe Mullen.


Investing in its own portable floodlighting system to be used at the Admiralty to promote development of skills.

 

In setting these goals the Club is aware of (and wishes to actively engage with) a number of external initiatives such as: The Football Foundation.
