1. You agree that your child’s
involvement in playing football is primarily for his/her own personal enjoyment

dignity and worth of each and every person and treat each equally within the

frustrated or ridiculing young players by focusing on their failings
3. You must place the well-being
and safety of each player above all other considerations, including the
development of performance
4. You must adhere to all
guidelines laid down within the Constitution and the Rules of The Football
Association
5. You must develop a good
supporting relationship with the coach and your child based on mutual trust and
respect
6. You agree not to exert undue
influence to obtain personal benefit or reward
7. You must encourage your child
to accept responsibility for their own behaviour and performance
8. You should, from the beginning
of your association with the Club, clarify with the coach exactly what is
expected of you and of your child.
9. You must agree to co-operate as
necessary with specialists (e.g. other coaches, officials, sports scientists,
doctors, physiotherapists) in the best interests of your child
10. You must agree to promote the
positive aspects of the sport (e.g. fair play) and never condone violations of
the laws of the Game, behaviour contrary to the spirit of the Laws of the Game
or relevant rules and regulations, or the use of prohibited substances or
techniques
11. You must consistently display high
standards of behaviour
12. You must emphasise the importance
of striving to win, not winning itself. Praise should be given for effort and
performance rather than results
